How to Use Stocktake Global Upload
Under the Warehouse Menu and then Warehouse Stocktake there is a new menu item called Global Upload - Stocktake Counts

This is where the user will go to upload the stocktake counts all at once instead of putting them automatically.
First step would be to create a stocktake by using Prepare Stocktake. Take note of the Stocktake Control number as this will be used for later.

Once the stocktake is prepared the user can go into Stocktake Control Code Maintenance and find their stocktake and click on Current Counts

This will pull up all the items in a grid and the user will then export this grid by clicking on the cog wheel and then export data

Now that the user has the export of all the items we will need to get this in the correct format so that it can be imported into Pronto.
The user can delete the columns: Freeze Qty, Freeze, Freeze Cost, Actual Freeze, Actual Freeze Time, Count, Actual Count, Actual Count Time, Batch No. Reference, Shelf Life. These are all highlighted below.

This will leave the user with 4 columns as shown below

Now the user will need to add a few columns. They will need a add column for Control Code, and Count Date

Make sure the columns are in this particular order. If they are in a different order this load will not work.
- Control Code
- Whse
- Item
- Location
- Count
- Count Date
Once the columns are added the user will need to fill in the correct information. The user will update the control code column with the stocktake control number. They will fill in the date of the stocktake. Lastly, they will need to update the count to what they actually count. For the control code it has to have the leading zeros. To do this in excel put a ‘ and then type out the 00000000012

Once this information is filled out the user will need to save this file as a .csv file

Once file is prepared and saved as CSV. The user will go into pronto and click on the new menu item called global upload - stocktake counts

It will ask the user to upload the file

Once file is upload the user can preview if needed or they can click the green check at the bottom.

It will bring them to another screen where the user will click spl create & upload

When that is clicked it will upload the counts to the stocktake. The user will get a message like this when completed.

If there are any errors it will tell you what went wrong.
The user can go into stocktake control code maintenance and click on current counts and view the updated county qty to insure its correct before updating GL

Now the user can go and update the stocktake by going to GL Update Inventory Ledger
